Community Partnership Programme
Bring 4–8 People. Raise €280–€5,600 For A Cause You Care About
For many years my work has centred on craftsmanship, culture, heritage, and the passing of knowledge from one generation to the next.
The Community Partnership Programme was created to support the charities, churches, community groups, clubs, associations, and local causes that continue to strengthen the communities around them.

If you can bring together between four and eight participants for one of our West of Ireland programmes, Court Master Carving will donate 20% of the programme fees directly to your chosen cause.
How It Works
The principle is simple.
You organise the group.
We provide the programme.
Your chosen cause receives the donation.
Depending upon the programme selected and the number of participants, our contribution to your cause ranges from:
€280–€5,600
from a single booking.
Who Can Participate?
The programme is open to almost any legitimate cause or organisation, including:
• Charities
• Churches and parish groups
• Community organisations• Heritage groups
• Historical societies
• Arts organisations
• Traditional music groups
• Alumni associations
• Men’s Sheds
• Irish diaspora organisations
• Educational organisations
• Volunteer groups
Or simply a group of individuals who wish to support a cause they care about.
The Programmes
One-Day Studio Sessions
A practical introduction to traditional stone carving within the workshop environment. Cost €350 pp Our contribution to your cause €70 pp
Two-Day Studio Sessions
A deeper practical experience allowing participants to develop confidence with traditional tools, techniques, rhythm, proportion, and carving systems. Cost €650 pp Our contribution to your cause €130 pp
The five-day formations are different.
Participants become part of a working craft environment.
After the initial period of instruction, participants work alongside me within the workshop itself whilst I continue work on live commissions and ongoing projects.
This provides an unusual opportunity to experience not only the techniques of traditional carving, but also the daily realities of professional practice within a living craft tradition. Alongside the practical work, participants explore the wider cultural landscape of Connacht, including relationships between craftsmanship, music, language, poetry, memory, proportion, and place. Cost €3,500 pp Our contribution to your cause €700 pp
Why We Are Doing This?
Traditional skills survive because communities continue to support them.
Likewise, communities survive because people continue to invest their time, effort, and resources into causes that matter.
The Community Partnership Programme creates a practical connection between the two.
Participants receive a rare hands-on experience of traditional craftsmanship.
At the same time, meaningful support is directed towards a cause chosen by the group itself.
